Sounds of Summer

Sounds of Summer celebrates the region’s signature summer events, from the Glengarry Highland Games, an emotional, volunteer‑driven celebration of Scottish culture, to the historic Williamstown Fair and South Mountain Fairs, where agriculture, family activities, and local craftsmanship bring generations together. Finally, the newly added DevFest is a growing summer music festival held at the DEV Hotel & Conference Centre on the St. Lawrence waterfront.

In this episode, we visit the Williamstown Fair, Canada’s oldest annual fair and a tradition spanning more than 200 years. 3. Sounds of Summer featuring Teresa Palmer from the South Mountain Fair

In this episode, we head to the South Mountain Fair, one of Eastern Ontario’s most cherished agricultural traditions, running for over a century. Hosted by the Mountain Township Agricultural Society, the fair brings together thousands each August for a full weekend of midway rides, live entertainment, rodeos, tractor pulls, and classic livestock and 4-H shows.

In this episode, we explore the Glengarry Highland Games, a beloved annual tradition held each August in Maxville, Ontario.
